Brown Creeper

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I was shooting an “intimate landscape/flora” when this creeper showed up and I didn’t change the shutter speed, so the bird isn’t as sharp as I would like. I did like the setting with the moss and the clean background.

Specific Feedback

Any thoughts appreciated.

Wonderful, with great subject and setting and lovely warmish colors!!! Looks like focus was behind the bird a bit, on the moss.

Always a treat to get one of these in your sights, Allen. I really like the setting. I do think it’s more a focus issue than motion blur because the bark under the foot isn’t in focus either.

Hi Allen, always great to see these fascinating birds. Love the setting with the bark and moss. Too bad about the focus issue but this is still a quite pleasing image.
