I really like the pose, Robert, and the light looks excellent. The Pelican does seem a bit soft and with that pose, I’d be tempted to go with a wide vertical crop.

The eye is captivating.

Hi Robert,
I like the look of the eye as Dennis mentioned and the background is nice. Bird is a bit soft. I think shooting this as a vertical would have been best to show the full beak and more of the bird.
