Brown Tree-creeper III (see Avian for I & II)

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

This bird showed up in my pool/drip area this morning and hung around quite a bit. I never saw it drink or bathe. This is the only decent shot I got of it in it’s normal foraging position. I only had one image of this species in my files, so I was very happy with the morning’s efforts.

Specific Feedback

Anything.

How did I miss this little cutie? Oh how I love brown creepers, but have never even gotten close to one, much less a photo. I love that little sharp beak and claws. So perfectly adapted to the niche it occupies. I really like the peek at the coverts, too. Bird butts are sometimes so endearing.

Thanks, Kris. My third try at this species and the fist really successful one (number 2 was a total bust).
