Brush Reflections

Went out trying to photograph sunrise - the fog simply wouldnt lift. Decided to try some small scenes instead.
Light was low and so shot this at ISO 2200 -handheld to get some shutter speed ( 1/1250 ) .

I did apply some blur to the background after standard noise reduction .

Hi Karl … I like the abstract nature of this image … it draws me in and makes me curious about what I’m looking at. I find the larger lower stubby branch distracting and would probably remove it. You might also try cropping to remove some of the white space from the top of the image. A well spotted opportunity to try something new when the weather didn’t cooperate.

A modern art work. Splendid photo for me that let fly the imagination.

I like this a lot! In the style of many old masters… Probably, removing the lower “stubby branch” is a proper decision, as it reduces the abstractness of the scene. For the rest, excellent for me!
