I’m trying to pay more attention to context with respect to background. Light was nice today even late in the morning. This is taken from a boardwalk about 1 1/2 m above the water. Can’t get any lower.

Nice job all around David, fine exposure of a lovely subject. I like the placement of the bird in the frame and the details look quite good. The lily pads add context. Nicely done.
