Nice to get the pair together and in good focus, Allen. As usual, the darn things swim away, but I still like it and the nearly matching head turns are great.

Very nice light and what excellent job getting both ducks in focus. The water is very pleasing with nice tonal qualities and contrast. You might be able to bring out a little more detail on the white plumage on the head by very carefully adjusting contrast and brightness. On my monitor which is calibrated, those feathers seem tiny bit bright. I think the Bufflehead Drake is one of the more difficult exposure dilemmas in avian photography.

Really like the head turns especially on the front bird. Nicely composed with ample space around the birds. I’d see about running noise reduction on the water especially in the more out of focus sections.
