I’ve been fortunate lately to have some bullock’s orioles coming into our backyard and here’s a capture I got of a male and a juvenile getting fed some grape jelly. Of course, I’m always on the lookout for an opportunity to shoot them in some nearby natural settings too. Glad to have them.

Does that background branch need to be removed? I left it in because, to my eye it adds a little weight to the bottom of the image and kinda balances the top elements. What say you?

Nice to get them together, Dave. I’m on the fence about that branch. I do think you could get away with brightening both birds by a bit without making it look unnatural.
