Bull's Eye - Repost

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

This bison bull was grazing peacefully right next to the road in the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone NP. It was not concerned that we and several other cars were stopped watching and calmly went on grazing. It may not have been a good idea to be this close during the rut though.

Specific Feedback

It was starting to get late in the evening and the light was pretty much gone behind the hills. The iso level is pretty high, and there is some graininess near the eye. I didn’t like what Topaz did with it so this is pretty much as shot, just cropped a bit tighter to put the eye in the center.

Technical Details

Canon R5, f8, 1/125s, iso 12800, 100-400+1.4tc at 420mm.

I really liked the frame !
You may crop off the horn at the top and darken the grasses.
This image calls for some fine sharpening.
