Burnt Rock Art

These are fragments of a burned granitic cobble that have spalled off after a fire. The cobbles are left over from the mining days along the Sacramento River, here in Redding (CA).

What technical feedback would you like if any? What artistic feedback would you like if any?

Any comments welcome.

Bonnie, nice job of seeing this abstract pattern in what I suspect was a much large “mess”. You’ve positioned the bright areas so that they really pull my eyes through the entire frame.
