Butterfly

Butterflies are one of the most interesting subject for photography. Captured this Ypthima ceylonica (White four ring) during a morning walk. In my personal experience this one is relatively easy to capture as it doesn’t bother that much our presence . kept negative space on the left to make the butterfly more elegant.

What a beautiful butterfly! I don’t think I have ever seen one like this, so I’m enjoying this. If it was mine, I think I would try darkening the bright foliage to keep the viewer’s attention on that beautiful subject. Maybe even a bit of contrast/saturation on just the butterfly to draw even more attention to it, especially after darkening it’s surroundings. A nice capture of this beauty.
