Hi Larry,
I love the crisp edges and brilliant colors of this rose. Background is a nice blur so the subject rose and leaves stand out. The missing tip of the upright leaf and the rose so close to the edge draws my attention away from the beautiful rose. I have had the same situation with flower shots.

What a beautifully color on this rose. A little more room on top so that the petal and leaf are fully in the frame would be my suggestion. Otherwise a great shot.
Larry: I’ll be lazy and echo Pat’s comments regarding more room at the top but the color carries the day. Nicely done. >=))>

I really like this and especially like the color of that BG ! I agree that a little more room at the top if needed.
