Canon R5, Canon 100-500mm, f8, 420mm, 1/2000, -1EV, ISO 320. The shot was cropped by 40%.
Peter, I like the image very much! The title is good as well with the lone bird in the water looking up at his mates.
I had a bit of a play in ACR and found there was a lot more detail to be found, around the bottom of the rocks and on the birds as well, by lifting Shadows. There’s some lovely greens and yellows there. Reducing Highlights on the top of the rocks seemed to make the image a bit softer on the eyes.
I saw the time of day the image was taken. You’ve done very well!
