I have been shooting does and fawns for years. To get them to the next level, in my opinion, you need interaction between the two. Nailed it here with great story. Plus you can see how tiny the fawn is. Thanks for posting.
Wow! That is a great capture! You have both looking at the camera, a wonderful pose with their heads facing in opposite directions, the emotional impact of a mother and her one hour old fawn, perfectly exposed and a great background. Great image!
