Description

In my never ending quest to photograph dark blue or black birds, I think these 4 actually look good.
The first one is only cropped by 10%, with as ISO of 10k, the last three are 60% crops with an ISO of 2,500. photograph on Oct 20 at 8AM and 9:07 AM. Thank you for stopping by.

Canon R5, Canon 100-500mm , f7.1, 1/1600, 500mm, ISO 12k & 2500. I used control points to work on the blues and Hue picker on the greens, in DXO PhotoLab 8

Excellent job bringing out the blues in these, Peter. My preference is for #1 and #3. #4 would be up there except the light is glancing off the eye and obscuring the glorious red a bit.

All very nice images Peter. Love seeing the iridescence of these guys. The singing poses are wonderful and the details look good. I think #1 is my fave. Well done.
