Description

The Tern was photographed handheld at around 100 yards. I was very pleased with how sharp it came out.

Beautiful flight shot of the tern, Peter. It’s great that you got an eye level shot coming toward you a bit with water background instead of looking up at it as usually seems to be the case with these birds.

Wonderful shot Peter! I only have a few images of terns flying, and no where near as good as this. So just a little envious.

The bird stands out well against the beautiful blue background.

Very nice, Peter. Low level shot of the tern flying at you is exceptional. Plus the eye stands out which isn’t always the case with the black head. Good background as well. Well done.

Hi Dennis, Glenys & Allen
Thank you for the kind words.
Peter

Wow such a tough bird to catch in flight and such a nice looking shot too. Very nice background and shooting angle. Nice that the bird is this sharp as well. Well done.

Hi Allen
Thank you for the comment.
