Very lovely! Great pose and light, interesting perch and nice, soft BG. At the full enlargement there is a funky appearance that I doubt was inherent in the capture. You have a large pixel size (about 3700 x 2700, which is great for having a good look at details) but the image is only 368 KB, which indicates a large JPEG compression. If I remember right, file submissions here are limited to 2,000K. You might try less JPEG compression.

Very nice, David. You did a good job of taming most of the funky look of that old cattail perch and the bird is beautiful.

One of my favorite birds to photograph when they are out in the open like this. Great singing pose; nice perch and background.
