Description
A cormorant, sharp and dignified, regards the world with a knowing eye. Its beak, a tool honed by nature, reflects years of evolution. The black and white plumage is pristine, contrasting sharply with the muted background, hinting at its aquatic prowess. Getting close enough to capture this moment felt like an intimate brush with the wild.

Hi Saundie, very nice close up of this cormorant. The parallel view of the head letâs us see all aspects sharply with a nice view of the eye. Exposure is spot on in the whites and blacks. Complimentary BG. Well done.
Gorgeous!! I love portraits and this one is excellent, technically and aesthetically. I love the BG! The tonalities are lovely and you have captured a very nice expression. S/he looks like you are being indulged, but maybe not for much longer. So it is with wild things. They rightfully have little use for us lesser beings.
Really stunning!
Exquisite detail, perfect comp (not too low on the body), great âexpressionâ and perfect handling of the blacks/whites.
Couldnât be better!
