Corner Pocket

I found this old bucket hanging in the corner of this range fence off Hwy 50 near Ely, NV. The sunrise was casting some nice light on the posts and bucket by the time I setup and photographed the scene. I’d say where this bucket was left hanging it was definitely an abandoned item.

I am not sure why but this one has a very forlorn feel for me. Which works well for the the challenge and the image.

Harley, I agree,. This was out in the middle of nowhere. I think what made me look closer was there was an adjacent old derelict windmill for very remote livestock watering at one time… :disappointed_relieved:

Paul (and @Harley_Goldman), forlorn describes this scene very well, with the weathered posts and scraggly barbed wire. It’s tough thinking about how someone was using this bucket to water or feed cattle and then just walked away leaving it hanging.
