Does the background work?
Hi Steve, I think this BG might work but my initial reaction is the bird seems gray with other areas being blown out. I am wondering what the image would look like with a brighter white on the splayed feather of the bird.
I think you managed to subdue the background about as much as possible, Steve. It’s a wonderful display pose and I can certainly see why you went monochrome with it. For me, the background does interfere too much with the delicate plumes and I just don’t see a way to fix it.
