Incredible golden hour light, Allen. Sometimes it almost looks unbelievable when we catch something like this. Nice pose in the egret and the background isn’t at all intrusive. Nice work.

Wow – wonderful light, pose and detail! The bird stangs out do beautifully, I wonder if it’s possible to select it and inverse to play with the BG a bit – or maybe you did? I sort of wonder about less contrast on the BG, or maybe less saturation.

Great light, super full-wing pose, and fine detail on this fellow.
To me, the BG seems a little too defined to allow a focus only on the bird. A simple levels adjustment to the BG only might solve that, if you were so inclined.
Really nice image!

This has amazing golden light Allen. Another great BIF image. Not sure how to help with the BG.

Love this moment of the subject. I have no issues with the BG but, if it were mine, I’d look at slightly nudging the contrast/brightness of the subject.

Love the light on the egret. Nice flying pose as well. Great capture.
