Covered Bridge to Somewhere

There are a number of wonderful covered bridges in NW Oregon. I’ve photographed many of them over the years. This one really caught me because it had windows and soft light coming through.

Technical Details

Is this a composite: No
Fujifilm GFX 50S, GF32-64mm @ 32mm, 1.2 Sec @ f/22, ISO 100, tripod, polarizer.

I’m sure I did not need f/22 to get full dof, but wanted to be safe and the medium format sensor handles that aperture quite well.

Looks really good, David. I really like the comp and its perspective. The tunnel to the light…

The light sure is wonderful. It comes across well even in B&W, something hard to do. I did a little scroll crop to eliminate the top triangle of roof and I think it makes the composition even stronger. Just though the middle of the right side tie at the top. We have a few covered bridges in WI, but not nearly as many as in New England. I don’t think I’ve bothered with one so far, but that could always change. Looks like this one is kept up very well. Does it still take auto traffic?

@Kris_Smith, I like your crop idea. I’ll try it out. Thanks.
