Description
While making my rounds at the local orchid show, I found this very nondescript orchid and noticed that this was no ordinary set of flowers when examined up close. I returned the following day when the exhibit was open to photographers. I used the Nikon Creative Lighting system with the flashes set on TTL to bring out the shiny texture and the hairs on the flowers. Tripods were allowed and I took full advantage to capture a series of images for stacking. Because the 200mm f4 Micro is an old school lens, focusing was done manually for the series of images.
