Don't Forget about MEEEEEEE !

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

(Take 2 - the first was a little too soft)

All the lions, elephants, zebra, and giraffe in Africa are wonderful, but there are also tiny little critters scurrying about. This is a Smith’s bush squirrel, a little smaller than our US squirrels, spotted by my eagle-eye husband.

Specific Feedback

I included the right edge of the huge tree, to try to give a bit of perspective.
Too distracting?

It is very easy to ignore the small critters, but this looks so cute !
I feel you may crop out the tree curve on the RHS and then see, what kind of framing works.

Hi Sandy. I agree with Jagdeep about the crop. Not only does it lessen the extreme placement of the squirrel a bit, but eliminating the bright distracting line would help our eye in exploring the frame (lots to explore too… the textures are awesome).
