We recently got some snow here and I always like to try for some shots when it’s happening. Here’s a male downy woodpecker capture.

Another excellent snow shot! “Almost” makes me miss snow! Nice pose from this fellow and appropriate comp. The snow is (literally, I guess). Icing!
Very well-done!

Very cool, Dave. Composition is terrific and the pose is great. I even think I see its claw through the snow. Well done.

Hi Dave
The snow is really working for you. Nice framing and eye contact.

Excellent, Dave, and the foreground flake found a much better spot to show up than it did on the Jay.

I like this, Dave. Excellent look at the woodpecker, a pleasing perch, and the snow adds a lot. Nicely captured.

Hi Dave, nice falling snow shot and I love seeing the red like this in the male. Nice sharpness on the bird and fine exposure. Well done.
