While searching for a long lost image for the Weekly Challenge I came upon this shot of a hairstreak on one of my favorite Texas wildflowers. Not sure why I never posted this but better late than never I suppose. All comments welcome. >=))>

A real beauty, Bill. So glad you went back into your archives and found this. Love those flowers, I can see why they are one of your favorites. Nice look at this little Hairstreak.

Really nice composition, not jus the technical accomplishment of capturing the butterfly but the orientation of the insect and the blossoms, and the crop.

Nice catch Bill. Love the blue of the flowers that contrasts nicely with the butterfly.

Bill, this is a beauty. How nice to see both the top and bottom of the wings with decent clarity. The high contrast and overall brightness really lets this pop.

I agree with Mark, Bill. The brightness of the image coupled with the mix of colors really catches the eye. Nicely done.
