Texas in the spring can be spectacular with wildflower displays all over the state. This year is turning out pretty well. Combinations of paintbrush and bluebonnets are some of my favorite shooting subjects. Found these in Grimes County a couple weeks ago. All comments welcome. >=))>
Bill, this is an excellent combination of frame filling flowers. As a special fan of Paintbrush, I like your emphasis on them. Their reds and golds are set off well by the Bluebonnets in the background. I also like how you found a setting where there’s a clear sharpness change with the Paintbrush in front and the Bluebonnets behind.
Lovely colour combination, Bill, and a great perspective, with perfect separation of the two groups of flowers - the portrait format working very well here.
