Was exploring the Brenham area of Texas based while spending some time in Houston for work. I was lucky to be there during the Bluebonnet season.

Oh wow, this is lovely! I can literally fall into it and swim in a sea of flowers. Love the fine detail of the flowers and grass in the foreground. The orangey-red flowers and the yellow ones provide momentary anchors for the eye to rest before plunging again into the lovely purplish blue. Perfectly composed and extremely painterly. It should make a stunning print. Congrats!
Bryan: Great mix of bluebonnets and paintbrush. I bet I’ve been to this field as I have haunted the Brenham area for years. Wonderful find and a fine capture. >=))>
