Taken this close up at an urban habitat when the egret posing in different positions. Thought of sharing with the group to get experts feedback.

While I like the pose of the egret, I wish for more detail. The white plumage should show detail of the feathers and I don’t see any. If this was captured in RAW, then I’m guessing the detail is there unless you’ve already pulled the overall exposure down a lot. Pulling the whites down in something like LightRoom would be my first option.
I think you’ll find, either in PS or LR that you can get the details from your RAW file by “select subject” then working the sliders for the highlights, down, whites up and contrast controls…and perhaps a dash of texture, clarity and dehaze…working with a small file as this, I can’t get here you can, but it demonstrates that the detail is there for the taking.
