The whole of the valley was in mist all day, and I had all day from dawn on the hillsides surrounding the valley getting some great shots looking from above, and in the estuary at Cardigan where the mist poured into the sea. On my way home and quite a bit after sunset I thought that all was done and a fruitful day had, when I saw this sight from the road. I used two images (out of three taken) to exposure-blend each of the images which make up the panorama.

Is this a composite: No
1/10 second at ISO 320, with the f-stop variable for the bracketing.
The pano presentation results oin a very well balanced and effective composition. The zig zag flow of the tree ridges creates a very dynamic look. The swirling fog is a big plus too.
Colors can be a very personal and subjective thing. I like the peach color in the sky, but feel like the deeper shadow foreground areas come across with a slight green cast, resulting in a teal blue. My opinion would be to subtley shift those less green and more blue. Just a personal opinion.
Thanks, again, Ed. You’re right. This is coming across differently on my PC screen in Lightroom, compared to when I view it on the NPN site, so am not sure that it can be my screen calibration (which might need to be re-done anyway). I am wondering whether it could be in converting from Adobe RGB to sRGB that is making the green slightly stronger? Philip
