I enjoy walking though the forest listening to the birds, the wind and the crack of twigs as I tread carefully. I stand still and turn 360 degrees to experience the different sounds. No one but me.
All and everything. Is the depth of field distracting. could I improve the crop, improve the composition
The lens was canon 100m macro. Handheld. Post processing in LR. Minimal post processing
Nice color contrasts in this one. The background is intriguing and so might be distracting in the sense that I’m trying to figure out what it is. It’s a bit strange to see the focus fall off immediately behind the flower and then come back on the edges. You’ve got a lot of great texture in the subject, so I really wish you’d been able to achieve critical focus in the center portion. You don’t list your settings so I assume either a faster shutter speed or a tripod would have helped here.
