Specific Feedback

I’m pleased to share my image “Face to Face” that has won a ‘certificate of merit’ in the portrait category of DJ Memorial Photography Contest - DJMPC 2024, a national level contest in India.
I’m quite delighted to see an image shot in the year 2007, with my first DSLR Canon EOS 30 D, a crop sensor camera, competing with modern full frame mirrorless cameras… may be, photographer still matters !

I can see why it is an award winner Jagdeep. The details are excellent. The face to face affection is obvious. Great lighting for B&W too. :+1:

Jagdeep: what a wonderful photo and congratulations on the well deserved award. I love the symmetry you’ve captured as well as rendering of it in BW. Yes, the person pushing the button still matters.

Definitely a winner. Amazing wildlife image with elephant personality, great texture and detail, and composition. Amazing capture - superb presentation. One minor opinion, I would leave off the white frame as my eyes are drawn to it when I want to only relish your award winning fabulous image.
