The half moon shining brightly over these fall Aspens caught my eye as I explored the Tom Miner Basin. This is a two shot “stack” to get both the leaves and the moon sharp. (R5 100-500 @ 200, 1/100 s, f/16, iso 200, tripod)
Great photo Mark, the color contrast came out very well. I have tried this before with cactus, but it never worked out. The exposure of both the foreground and moon were right one.
Mark, the view of the moon over the shorter tree seems perfect. The tree arrangement has a nesting look to it. Interesting to see the two outer trees seemingly are the exact same height too. Excellent detail, stacking process, and colors throughout as well…
Mark, this is great. Yellow and blue. The positioning of the moon gives the whole scene a great balance. Well seen.
Intended or not, I love it.
Nice job using the wonderful blue and yellow contrast, and the moon is a perfect addition.
Beautiful scene Mark. I love the warm/cool color contrast, and the half moon adds very well to the comp.
