What artistic feedback would you like if any? Does the composition work?

John, the dof and comp are fine. I really like the contrast of the old wood and the (beech) leaves. If this were mine, I would crop out the muddy brown and chewed up leaf on the right and a small slice off the top for balance. Other than that, maybe some minor touchup on the other leaves.
Unusual comp, but it works well. Love the detail and textures in the tree trunk, and the fall colors of the leaves, Well done!
