Image Description

Out looking for eagles this afternoon. Nothing around, but I noticed this fence in a flooded field.
I quite like it, but imagine how much better it would be with a large raptor sitting on top.

This is gorgeous for the simple geometry of the fence sections and their reflections, Ryan. It also speaks to me because of the recent flooding in the general area where I live (we’re personally well away from flood zones until about half the world’s ice melts).

I debate with myself over cleaning up some of the vegetation in the water. While it messes with the simple lines of the image, it helps tell the story, so it becomes a matter of whether you’re producing pure art for it’s own sake or trying to tell a story.

P.S. The Raptor would be cool!

I think it’s terrific, Ryan. Generally I’m not fond of unusual aspect ratios but in this case it seems inevitable. Well done.

Very nice!! And if you want a twofer, the right half alone works well too.

Very cool, Ryan. The vertical and horizontal mirror affect really grabbed my attention from the start.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the feedback. Yes an unusual aspect ratio but I thought that the line of posts looked good together as an extended shape/pattern. But Diane you are quite right that the RHS does look good on its own.
Thanks again.
