The soft backlighting of these ferns pulled me in to finding some of the details that worked and this, with contrasting darker leaves, and even lighter background, was one of many I found pleasing.

Hey John this is such a great arrangement of what I think are Ostrich fern fronds. The way you have the diagonals lined up and the different lighting is really dynamic for such a static shot, if you know what I mean. Lots of soothing green and velvety texture. Cant think of much to improve except maybe a touch of micro contrast…maybe just in the light green?

John, a great composition; with even the BG green the balanced contrast of right and left sides makes this for me.

Nice image here John. I love the line up of fern fronds and the BG is nice to set the textures off. Great one for this week’s challenge.

Hi John, when I first saw the image, I’ve seen the space between the fern leaves. The contraste between the leaves is manage nicely and the composition well balance. Maybe a bit more of detail in leaves will have been nice, lly everything I can say about the image. Well done.
