Fern green

I never tire of seeing ferns and, of course, photographing them, here an Ostrich fern. This made green by pushing the lens into the fronds in front.

Oh my, I just love this sort of thing. This is just lovely. The only nit I have are the few darker spots towards the upper left tips of the fronds. The contrast is so low, those darker spots stand out to my eye. They’d be easily dodged to match the rest.

Lovely, soft, understated photo. I like the graceful lines interspersed with the jagged edges of the fronds. Was the green really this vibrant?

Thanks! Yes, it was that green, I think in part because of the transmitted light in the fronds that were right in front of the lens. It will be that way again in a couple weeks.
