Finding Faces

Description:

Most weekends I would past the root on the trail at my local near urban park. It always seemed interesting so one day I finally stopped and took some images of the root. I’m not sure what was drawing me eye to the root but it wasn’t until I opened the image in LR and rotated it 180 degrees did the face pop out at me. I have some other images on this theme that I’ve taken over the last few years. I’m trying to slow down and look for the small things.

Nice catch, Bryan. Looks like the skull of a cattle to me, is that what you saw??

Bryan, there’s so much to see in this view and I suspect that each viewer will see something different. I’m thinking octopus (especially if you rotated in 90 degrees counterclockwise. The two eyes and the long nose show well. I also like the bits of grass to help put this into context.
