First Light in the Wetlands

Daybreak at a large pond on the Maryland Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay. I waited a while for this Great Blue Heron to turn and face the light as he foraged in the shallows.

Hi Bill
The framing of this Blue is great, the head turn and back lighting, setts that early morning summer sunrise. The only nit I have is the eye is soft and the back feather are a little noisy.

Peter,
Thank you for the feedback. Yes, I see your point on the eye and back feathers. I’ll have to address it in post if possible. Very helpful feedback.
Thanks, Bill
