Sweet yellows, Sandy, with the flower set at a jaunty angle, showing off the centre nicely. The brightness and paleness of the petals sing of Spring !

This is a Magnolia I’ve not seen before. A variety of Japanese magnolia perhaps? I think you’ve hit this just about right. No nits.
