Guy: This is an interesting scene and an intriguing comp. I like your SS choice and the contrast of the water and the BG as well as the diagonal movement of elements in the frame. My two suggestions would be to bring up the shadows on the left side a bit and make that tiny triangle of falls on the top edge go away. Pretty small nits for a really nice image. >=))>
Amazing. It looks like hair. Who said gray hair isn’t beautiful? I like the darkness and abstractness of the sides of the waterfall. The whole thing doesn’t look like water. The murky water in the bottom left center doesn’t work for me as it goes against the remaining water. Not much can be done about it though. With moving object like this you never know what you’re going to get until you see it after it’s completed.
Hi Guy,
I am loving this; particularly the tendrils of the water flowing down the rock face. The diagonals you created with the side rock walls work beautifully and help draw the eye up this lovely waterfall. I do like the tweaks suggested by @Bill_Fach as it elevates an already outstanding image another notch. I will have to check this waterfall out the next time I head north.
Hi @Bill_Fach , @Michael_Lowe , @Igor_Doncov , @Ed_Lowe, Thank you all so much for taking the time to consider and comment on the image. It is a pleasure to be able to share it with you.
