Flyovers

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Yesterday morning at the pond was relatively slow photo-wise. The birds were there but didn’t provide many good photo ops except for a couple of flyovers from this great egret and green heron.
The kingfishers continue to be more interested in chasing each other than diving for fish it seems.

Specific Feedback

Any comments appreciated.

All showing excellent detail. I like the wing position on the first egret shot over the second.

All really nice flight shots.
In the first, there is an odd thing around the dark, spikey area above the extended leg. Not sure what the spike is?

All three are nice flight shots, Allen. Of the egrets, I prefer the second-somehow the body against the wing in the first has an odd look, probably just the light. The light itself is beautiful.

Hi Sandy, I think that is just a shadow on the bottom of the tail.
