Just now seeing this Bill. I won’t go into a ton of detail since most has already been said but I can confidently say that the color of the wave, the texture of the splash and the longer shutter speed make this so dynamic. I also love where the wave is curling over itself where they intersect. The texture is phenomenal. This looks like one of Mark Metternich’s images.
I would maybe dodge the very darkest portion of the blue water running along the top of the frame as it definitely pulls my eye. You might do a slight clockwise rotation as well and maybe a crop to remove the splash along the bottom of the frame. Those may have already been recommended and I have not read any of the critiques yet so I’m just giving you my true reaction to this.
