The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I saw this scene from the road through the grove. Could not get closer. I liked how the web stood our from the dark trees. HOWEVER for some reason when I try to download the cropped version of this image it will not open. This is the image as it was taken.
Specific Feedback
How well the web stands out from the trees.

Not sure what the trouble is in posting a cropped version. Can you try and edit your original post and just upload the cropped version?
I can see why you might want to crop, so I took the liberties of cropping for you… Of course I have no idea what you have in mind, but I’m pretty sure maybe you’re not only trying to get a little closer, but perhaps eliminating the bright patches up top? So I went ahead and cropped. Also, I isolated the background and made it a bit darker. Again, not sure what you’re after.
One comment I wanted to make was the orange leaf in the LRC. The color and bright spot draw the eye a bit, but I think I like that it shows where the web is connected, so I left it. May or may not be important to you.
Hi John,
The backlighting really makes the spider web stand out against the darker BG trees. Bummer about your cropped version not loading. I am probably muddying the waters for you since Lon posted a cropped version, but here goes. Just another option for you if interested.
It’s like a bullseye! I can see why it caught your eye. I really like @Lon_Overacker cropped version as it eliminates the bright leaves at the top and adds a bit more visual interest with the web being off-center. You must have better eyesight than me to spot a small scene like this from the road through a grove! Cool image…keep 'em coming!
The sun is catching the web just right John, nicely spotted. I love the crop ideas, and I’d probably sacrifice the web attachment to remove that orange leaf; it catches the eye just a bit.
