For those interested in using a Photoshop type editing app without a commitment, you might want to check out Photopea. It is a web-based site with most of the functions of PS. No downloads, no cloud,… just process your image in your browser. If you currently use PS, this will be very familiar. It’s so familiar, I won’t be surprised if Adobe doesn’t initiate a lawsuit. I find this site pretty amazing.
It can open and produce layered .psd files as well as gif, jpg, and png. I could not open RAW files from my D810. You cannot modify color profiles or EXIF info. But, you can do a slew of things that you can do in PS. Being web-based, it can be accessed on any platform that has an internet connection. Below is the link.
