From both sides now

As much as I’d love to, I know I will not be investing in drone equipment. I have been fortunate, despite my large carbon foot print, to have enjoyed the views out of airplane windows. Clouds, either head on or, like this view, looking down are remarkable in that they visibly trace the temperature and humidity patterns of the air. I especially enjoyed seeing clouds and their shadows super-imposed over the tracings of humans.

Wonderful photo! I’ve never noticed lines of clouds like that from the ground. Being above them and seeing them superimposed on the landscape below is very enlightening.

Excellent cloud distribution. A good reason to fly to see stuff like this.

John,

Yes, it is quite amazing to see clouds from such a viewpoint; it really gives one a perpective not only of the scale clouds usually occupy, but also how they track the atmospheric conditions as you mention. Oh, and the shadow play, very cool as well.

Great entry!
