Image Description

This was purposely taken as an abstract. The image was shot from a kayak in Pederson Bay, which is on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. It was taken 2006 I believe.

Pertinent Technical Details

oh yeah, this was shot a Nikon D2X and the 50 mm lens. I don’t remember the ISO or the other particulars but I assume it was shot at about F8. I was very close.

David, the layers look good and I’m amazed at the size of the crystals. In the large view, the subtle color shifts enhance the scene.

Very nice ice and will suffice. I like the various layers and curves. The color is wonderful. Good job, David!

This looks like frozen waves coming at me, David. I really like the effect and the detailed structure.
