Peeking over the South Point cliffs at Point Lobos State Marine Reserve, California. [One of my favorite go-to locationas at Point Lobos. Always exhilarating to capture the Pacific Ocean in one of it’s more epic “thrashing about” moods!]

Slightly overcast created soft shadows. I could not have ask for more.

Feedback Requests

It took a lot of tweaking to not get blown-out highlights. Do you think I succeded?

Franz, you’ve got a full range of brightness here without blown hightlights…the benefits of soft overcast. Your fast shutter shows off the action in the surf well.
