Image Description

One more from Cox Bay, Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. I was high up on a rock face to capture the amazing powerful waves of the incoming tide, but I did not get the top of the wave, and it did not look right for me. I decided to crop it so that it does not show that the top is missing.

In general I think it turned out well, but I would like some opinions and critic if this really works and what can I do better?

Unique, and very nice! I don’t mind what might be missing. The spray is a nice frame for the interesting lines in the water.

I love shooting waves but I go nuts trying to delete down to the more worthy ones.

Thank you very much, Diane. I am fascinated with the ocean and the powerful waves.

Welcome! These ocean images are very good - the power of the ocean is amazing, and you have captured it well. The top of the wave doesn’t seem important, as the focus should - and is - on the wave action.
Fine image! Looking forward to more of these, and whatever else your eye and lens finds!

Thanks Sandy, I am very encouraged,

Natalya, this looks fine as presented. I like how your fast shutter captured the details in the splash. The water color and the sweeping motion coming in from the right look good also.

Mark, than you very much.
