This is my first post, and I hope it qualifies for the Aerial Perspectives Challenge.
I am fascinated by the power of the ocean and on last week’s trip to Tofino on Vancouver Island. I climbed up on a rock face shooting down on the incoming tide. The location is Cox Bay located within Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in BC.

Any feedback and critic is welcome. Should it be more cropped?

Natalya: Welcome to NPN and thanks for a fine first post. This works for me for this challenge and like you I could watch the surf all day long. I like the rocks on the left edge and think they give just enough context to be a good element. The rocks on the lower edge though could go since I don’t think they add much and are also OOF. A simple crop would do the trick. Great to have you aboard and looking forward to more of your work.>=))>
Natalya, welcome to NPN and the Weekly Challenge. This is an excellent post of aerial perspective. I like how the main wave makes a big arc and extends from the lower right to the upper right. I agree that the slightly out of focus rocks at the bottom could go away. (If they were sharp, I might leave them in.) You might also crop off about half of the wave at the very top, leaving a white edge but with limited structure. I like your fast shutter as it shows the details in the breakers.
