i like the color and overall texture on this. to me the text overlay is a little too much. it might be more effective if you only had the text on the background, behind the grapes and leaf in the foreground. excellent composition.
Richard: Another beautiful bunch. I find the text overlay intriguing and interesting and would like to know the back story. It gives the image some extra character and mystery. It’s not quite discernible but if it was darker I think it would be a distraction. Nice concept and execution.>=))>
Thank you Bill,there is really no back story other than I was going for some “intrigue” and mystery as you mentioned with my texture. I really try to take grapes to another level of feeling on the viewers part rather than documentation. I can see in my minds eye a level other than straight sight if that makes any sense.

I like the effect, Richard. Interesting and original. Is this just random text? It would be interesting to have an old hand-written botanical description, but since it was deliberately faded, the content really doesn’t matter.
